LG Electronics said it will unveil LG ThinQ Pro, a new B2B-focused smart home management platform, at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, as it seeks to strengthen its presence in the North American builder and property management market.

LG ThinQ Pro integrates the company’s premium built-in appliances with smart home management capabilities, offering centralized control of appliances and residential spaces across a wide range of housing types. Designed for builders, installers and property managers, the platform supports installation, operation, maintenance, safety monitoring and energy efficiency management throughout the entire property lifecycle.

Targeting the rapidly expanding multi-family housing sector, including apartment complexes and rental properties, LG ThinQ Pro provides a unified system that streamlines management processes from initial installation through day-to-day operations. Installers can register multiple appliances using QR code scanning through the dedicated ThinQ Pro app, while builders and managers can monitor installation progress in real time via a centralized digital workflow.

After installation, the LG ThinQ Pro dashboard offers an overview of appliance status across individual units and entire properties. The platform enables asset tracking by unit, including model and serial numbers, and supports real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance alerts, warranty management and service request handling, helping ensure stable operation and continuity of service.

LG ThinQ Pro also connects home appliances with heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to improve operational efficiency and safety. The platform can detect potential risks such as water leaks from washing machines or blocked dryer ducts and send alerts to property managers, helping reduce incidents and enhance building safety.

For residents, the platform supports a more convenient living experience through smart routines, including automated modes for when occupants leave or return home. LG said ThinQ Pro was designed to integrate with existing property management systems, allowing required appliance data to be incorporated without a full system replacement.

Steve Baek, president of LG’s Home Appliance Solution Company, said LG ThinQ Pro is a B2B-dedicated smart home platform that combines the company’s built-in appliance offerings with operational tools tailored to North America’s diverse residential environments. He added that LG plans to continue expanding its B2B platform capabilities to support a broader range of residential applications.

LG Electronics will showcase LG ThinQ Pro and other B2B home management solutions at its booth (#W2100) at the Orange County Convention Center during KBIS 2026, which runs from February 17 to 19.
