Genesis unveiled the GV70 Graphite Edition at the 2026 New York International Auto Show, marking the global debut of a new variant that expands the brand’s design-focused lineup.
The reveal took place on April 1 (local time) at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York, where Genesis introduced the model—branded locally as the GV70 Prestige Graphite—to the North American market.
The GV70 Graphite Edition follows the earlier launch of the G70 Graphite Edition and represents the second model in Genesis’ Graphite series. The new variant carries forward the sporty design language that received positive feedback in the G70, applying it to the GV70 SUV with distinct interior and exterior elements.
On the exterior, the GV70 Graphite Edition features a darker, more aggressive design theme. It is equipped with 21-inch dark metallic glossy alloy wheels and exclusive red brake calipers, emphasizing a performance-oriented character. Glossy black side mirrors, along with dark chrome and black-finished detailing throughout the body, further enhance its refined yet sporty appearance.
Inside, the model combines ultramarine-colored Nappa leather seats with suede materials to create a balance between luxury and sportiness. The Genesis logo embossed on the headrests reinforces the identity of the Graphite Edition. A newly applied carbon-pattern garnish adds a dynamic touch to the cabin, while a dedicated welcome and goodbye animation on the display provides a differentiated user experience.
Alongside the GV70 Graphite Edition, Genesis also showcased the G90 Wingback Concept in North America for the first time, following its initial reveal at the Magma World Premiere in southern France last November. In addition, a scale model of the GMR-001 hypercar, set to compete in global endurance racing this year, was displayed, highlighting the brand’s direction toward luxury performance and high-performance mobility.
