Korea IT Times — On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, the Korea Information Industry Association (KIIA) and Dankook University's SW Center of Excellence Program will jointly host the 2025 Fall Joint Seminar. The seminar will take place at the Grand Auditorium on the 7th floor of Kinstar Tower in Seongnam City, Bundang-gu (near Jeongja Station), and will focus on the theme of 'Revitalising the AI Data Industry and Strengthening Corporate Competitiveness through AI and Information Security Convergence'. The seminar is intended to facilitate discussion about the future direction of the AI and data industries, and to share industry-specific examples of security convergence and innovation strategies.

A collaborative platform across industry, academia, research, and government

The seminar will go beyond academic exchange to create a venue for practical dialogue on AI-based industrial transformation (AX, or AI Transformation). Representatives from the private sector, academia, research institutions, and government will gather to discuss ways to establish an AI–data convergence ecosystem and strengthen cooperation across industries.

Yeon Seung-ho, Chairman of the KIIA, noted that “AI and data lie at the heart of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and have become the defining technologies for national and corporate competitiveness.” He added that the seminar will “present actionable solutions for digital transformation based on real industry cases and research achievements.”
