LIFEPLUS, the joint brand of Hanwha Group’s financial affiliates, announced that its global talent development event, “LIFEPLUS NY 2025,” concluded successfully on November 14 (local time) at The Glasshouse in Manhattan, New York.
“LIFEPLUS NY” is a global platform designed to help young Korean financial professionals grow into competitive leaders on the world stage. Beyond talent development, the program aims to build networks between Korea and the United States and foster a sustainable financial ecosystem. Over the years, it has positioned itself as a platform promoting connection and growth across generations and borders through finance.
Now in its third year, the 2025 event was held under the theme “Connecting Dreams.” This year’s gathering served as a forum where finance and technology converged, bringing together Korean and U.S. financial experts, tech leaders, and emerging next-generation professionals.
Executives from major global financial and technology firms participated as speakers, including representatives from alternative investment giant Blackstone, global investment bank Morgan Stanley, the Ethereum Foundation, AI-driven fintech startup LinqAlpha, and digital asset financial services firm Hyperithm. Speakers expressed strong support for Hanwha Financial’s vision for the future of finance and technology, noting that “next-generation K-leadership will shine even brighter across global industries.”
A group mentoring session also took place, where young participants from across the Americas engaged in in-depth discussions with finance and tech practitioners about career development and professional pathways. Participants gained practical insights and experienced the atmosphere of the global finance industry firsthand.
Outstanding students from Korea were also invited to the event, creating additional opportunities for global networking. Selected members of the DP Investor Club—part of DreamPlus, Hanwha Life’s growth platform for nurturing future financial leaders—attended to broaden their perspectives and accelerate their career development.
Yoon Jong Kim, Head of Global HR at Hanwha Life, said, “LIFEPLUS NY 2025 embodied Hanwha Financial’s vision of connecting people and preparing for the future through finance and technology. We will continue to provide diverse opportunities to ensure that the next generation of talent can build competitiveness in the global finance and tech sectors.”
LIFEPLUS continues to pursue sustainable financial ecosystem development by nurturing future leaders and strengthening the leadership of K-finance. The program aims to support emerging talent so they can play active roles in global financial markets in the years ahead.
