Berlin—The Web3 Summit is scheduled to take place at Funkhaus Berlin on June 18 and 19, 2026, bringing together developers, artists, researchers, founders and other participants involved in blockchain and decentralised technology. The event is organised by the Web 3.0 Technologies Foundation.

According to the organisers, the summit will examine issues including privacy, participation and user control in digital environments. The event comes as debate continues over the role of centralised digital infrastructure, platform influence and data privacy.

Over two days, the programme will include talks, workshops, unconference sessions and collaborative spaces. The summit is also part of Berlin Blockchain Week.

The organisers said this year’s programme will focus on three main themes: privacy as a condition of digital life, self-sovereignty in relation to identity, assets and data, and usability as a factor in broader adoption of decentralised technologies.

Thomas Fecker Boxler, managing director of the Web3 Foundation, said the event is intended to bring together people working on technologies related to privacy, participation and user control in digital systems.

The Web3 Foundation said its broader mission is to support the development of decentralised web software protocols and applications. The summit will present projects and ideas that, according to the organisers, are aimed at giving users greater control over data, identity and digital assets.
