Quranium, a Switzerland-based blockchain company, has announced the launch of QINFI, a financial application designed to integrate payments, digital assets, and tokenized finance on a single platform built on its quantum-secure Layer-1 blockchain.
The launch comes amid growing interest in tokenized assets and continuous digital financial markets, alongside concerns about the limitations of existing financial infrastructure. Cross-border financial flows exceed $290 trillion annually, yet much of the underlying infrastructure remains reliant on legacy systems that are costly, slow to adapt, and not designed with long-term cryptographic resilience in mind. At the same time, the tokenization of financial and real-world assets is expanding rapidly, with industry estimates projecting trillions of dollars in tokenized assets within the next several years.
QINFI is positioned as an attempt to address this disconnect by consolidating several financial functions—including payments, digital asset management, and access to tokenized assets—within a single application. The platform operates on Quranium’s Layer-1 blockchain, which incorporates post-quantum cryptographic methods at the protocol level. According to the company, this design is intended to mitigate future cryptographic risks associated with advances in quantum computing.
The application combines payment functionality, on-chain asset access, and portfolio management in a unified interface. Quranium states that this approach is aimed at reducing operational complexity while supporting security and compliance requirements typically associated with institutional financial use. All transactions within QINFI are settled on the company’s quantum-secure blockchain infrastructure.
The launch was presented during Quranium’s EPOCH TownHall, an online event where the company outlined its broader product roadmap and development strategy. Members of the founding and executive team discussed how the Layer-1 protocol and application ecosystem are intended to operate as an integrated financial stack.
In a statement released alongside the announcement, Kapil Dhiman, CEO and co-founder of Quranium, said the company views cryptographic resilience as a long-term requirement for financial infrastructure as technology evolves.
The EPOCH TownHall was streamed across multiple online platforms, including YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Telegram, and Discord, and included a live question-and-answer session with participants.
