Rivvun AI announced a $7.55 million seed round on June 10 as it seeks to address inefficiencies in enterprise revenue collection, with the Seattle-based company targeting transaction-level recovery through autonomous AI.

The funding comes amid growing attention to inefficiencies in enterprise financial operations. According to research cited by Rivvun AI, large organizations lose significant value during the execution of commercial agreements, procurement processes, and transaction settlements. While contracts may clearly define obligations and financial terms, companies often struggle to ensure that negotiated rebates, pricing agreements, and settlement commitments are fully realized.

McKinsey research has estimated that procurement organizations can lose up to one-third of planned savings during execution, while an additional 3–4% of external spending may be affected by inefficiencies and noncompliance. Across large enterprises, these losses can accumulate into substantial financial leakage, even when no fraud or contractual disputes are involved.

Rivvun AI was founded by former executives of enterprise contract management company Icertis. Co-founders Anand Veerkar and Niranjan Umarane spent more than a decade helping build Icertis into a major enterprise software provider serving global corporations. During that period, they observed recurring challenges in the gap between negotiated commercial terms and the financial outcomes ultimately reflected in corporate systems.

The company argues that many existing enterprise platforms are designed to record transactions or manage workflows rather than verify whether agreed financial outcomes have been achieved. Enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and procurement systems often operate independently, making it difficult to identify and recover unrealized value embedded in commercial agreements.

To address this issue, Rivvun AI has developed what it describes as an autonomous AI execution layer that integrates with existing ERP, CRM, and procurement platforms. The system is designed to analyze contractual obligations, identify transactions that have not settled according to agreed terms, and initiate recovery processes without requiring organizations to replace existing software infrastructure.

The platform is organized around two primary solution areas. The first, Spend Assurance, focuses on procurement-related recovery efforts, including supplier rebates, pricing commitments, and purchasing obligations that may not have been fully enforced. The second, Margin Defense, targets revenue-side discrepancies such as settlement variances, trade-term inconsistencies, and other factors that may affect realized revenue.

Rivvun AI is also pursuing an industry-specific deployment strategy. The company notes that settlement and compliance issues vary significantly across sectors, with pharmaceutical chargebacks, healthcare reimbursement structures, banking settlements, and consumer goods trade terms each presenting distinct operational challenges. As a result, the platform incorporates industry-specific AI models and workflows tailored to particular sectors, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, banking, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, and industrial markets.

Anand Veerkar, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Rivvun AI, said enterprises have increasingly sought AI applications capable of generating measurable financial outcomes rather than focusing solely on productivity improvements. He stated that the company aims to help organizations recover value that may otherwise remain unrealized due to operational gaps between contractual commitments and financial execution.

Investors participating in the round cited the company's focus on measurable business outcomes and the founding team's experience in enterprise software as factors behind their investment decision.

The newly raised capital is expected to support product development, industry expansion, and broader deployment of Rivvun AI's platform across enterprise customers seeking to improve revenue realization and spending efficiency.
