NH Nonghyup Bank said President Kang Tae‑young visited Vietnam to meet sequentially with local executives of Hanwha Aero Engines and Hyosung Vietnam to discuss global financial cooperation and industry trends.
On October 30, Kang toured a Hanwha Aero Engines facility near Hanoi to review operations as the plant serves as an overseas production base for Korea’s aerospace industry amid global supply‑chain diversification. As part of Nonghyup Bank’s direct marketing efforts targeting premier overseas Korean companies, Kang and Hanwha Aero Engines executives discussed ways to provide global financial services and strategies to meet the aviation sector’s financing needs.
On November 3, Kang visited Hyosung Vietnam in Dong Nai Province near Ho Chi Minh City to hear about Hyosung Group’s investment status in Vietnam and local business challenges. The parties agreed to expand local banking and foreign‑exchange support and to explore finance options for ESG‑based capital investments, committing to ongoing cooperation.
Kang said, “Nonghyup Bank will remain a reliable financial partner for Korean companies operating overseas and will continue to provide practical support aligned with changes in local industrial structures. We will strengthen strategic cooperation with key sectors—manufacturing, aviation and petrochemicals—in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia.”
