LG Electronics will unveil the 2026 LG Gram at CES 2026, showcasing a new ultra-light notebook that combines enhanced durability with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities.
The latest model features Aerominum, an advanced material originally developed for the aerospace industry, which reinforces durability while maintaining the hallmark portability of the LG Gram series. The new lineup also integrates a multi-AI solution powered by LG AI Research’s large language model EXAONE 3.5 and Microsoft Copilot+ PC, delivering a differentiated AI user experience.
Making its debut at CES 2026, the LG Gram Pro AI 2026 (models 16Z90U and 16Z95U) adopts an Aerominum chassis composed of magnesium and aluminum alloys. This enables the device to weigh just 1,199 grams while improving scratch resistance by 35 percent. The metal body also enhances the premium look and feel of the notebook.
AI functionality has been significantly expanded. Through gram chat On-Device, users can perform document summarization, search, and translation without a network connection. Additional features include My Archive, which provides personalized search and responses based on individual data, and Time Travel, which allows users to track PC activity or recover deleted data.
With Copilot+ PC support, the new LG Gram enables real-time video translation and AI-powered image generation. Connectivity and security have also been strengthened. In addition to seamless integration with mobile devices, the notebook supports wireless file sharing and screen extension with LG TVs, smart monitors, and projectors running webOS26. A newly introduced Secure Lock feature enhances data protection by enabling system lockdown and initialization in the event of loss or theft.
The 2026 LG Gram lineup offers broader configuration options with models powered by Intel Core Ultra and the AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series. The 16-inch LG Gram Pro is equipped with a 77Wh battery, providing up to 27 hours of use on a single charge, or more than nine hours of operation with just 30 minutes of charging. The device has also passed seven reliability tests conducted by the U.S. Department of Defense, including impact, dust, extreme temperatures, vibration, salt fog, and low pressure.
LG Electronics plans to sequentially launch seven models from the 2026 LG Gram lineup in the domestic market starting on the 6th.
