Medical AI company Coreline Soft has renewed its partnership with Italy’s National Cancer Institute in Milan (INT Milano), reinforcing its position in Europe’s lung cancer screening (LCS) market.

The company announced that it has signed a renewed agreement for its AI-based solution, AVIEW LCS Plus, which will continue to support Italy’s nationwide screening network.

The collaboration is part of the RISP (Rete Italiana Screening Polmonare) program, a national lung cancer screening initiative supported by the Italian Ministry of Health. The project connects 18 major hospitals across the country and aims to validate the effectiveness of low-dose CT (LDCT)-based screening for high-risk populations.

Within this framework, Coreline Soft’s solution plays a key role in standardizing imaging data and improving diagnostic efficiency across institutions.

The Italian case is considered a real-world example of how AI-driven lung cancer screening can be integrated into national healthcare systems. AVIEW LCS Plus not only detects lung nodules but also analyzes additional risk factors such as emphysema and coronary artery calcification.

Across Europe, the lung cancer screening market is rapidly evolving from a technology-driven space into a policy-oriented ecosystem involving public funding, insurance frameworks, and national healthcare strategies. Germany’s HANSE project has already demonstrated the clinical and economic value of AI-based screening, while France is expanding its national pilot program through the IMPULSION initiative.

Industry observers note that Coreline Soft’s continued participation in large-scale public projects highlights its growing role beyond a technology provider, positioning the company as a contributor to national screening infrastructure.

The company has also expanded its footprint by supplying solutions to major hospitals in Germany and securing access to France’s public procurement system. This approach is expected to strengthen its long-term growth prospects as Europe’s screening policies continue to develop.
