Genesis has launched the updated 2026 G80 and the 2026 G80 Black, the latest model-year versions of its flagship large luxury sedan, on January 8.

The 2026 G80 reflects extensive customer feedback, with the brand reorganizing standard specifications around the most preferred features while further enhancing overall design refinement and premium quality.

All trims of the 2026 G80 now come standard with the driver’s Ergo Motion Seat, designed to reduce fatigue and improve driving comfort. Meanwhile, the previously standard antibacterial package has been moved into the Convenience Package, allowing for a more streamlined and efficient specification structure.

Genesis has also simplified option selection by merging Popular Package I and II into a single integrated package. Offered at a more competitive price point, the unified Popular Package includes Driving Assistance Package I and II, along with the Built-in Cam package.

Exterior updates further emphasize Genesis’ brand identity. Two new body colors — Vatna Gray and Ceres Blue — have been added, bringing the total number of exterior color options to eight. A newly designed 19-inch wheel with a sportier appearance is also available. At the rear, all badges except the GENESIS lettering have been removed to create a cleaner and more modern look.

The 2026 G80 Black features exclusive black-themed styling, delivering a restrained yet powerful presence. Popular features, including the Built-in Cam package, are offered as standard to enhance overall product competitiveness.

Pricing for the 2026 G80 starts at KRW 59.78 million for the 2.5-liter gasoline turbo model and KRW 66.28 million for the 3.5-liter gasoline turbo model. The G80 with the Sport Package is priced at KRW 63.72 million for the 2.5-liter version and KRW 71.79 million for the 3.5-liter version (2WD, 3.5% individual consumption tax applied).

The 2026 G80 Black is priced at KRW 82.43 million for the 2.5-liter gasoline turbo model and KRW 86.66 million for the 3.5-liter gasoline turbo model, based on a 3.5% individual consumption tax.
