Com2uS will host online qualifiers for the Summoners War Korea–Japan Super Match 2026 on February 7 and 8, the company announced.
The Korea–Japan Super Match is an official international rivalry event featuring top players from South Korea and Japan competing in Summoners War: Sky Arena. The tournament serves as a competitive and cultural exchange between elite players from the two countries.
Participant recruitment ran from December through early January, with 12 players from each country selected based on their final standings in World Arena Season 35. The Korean qualifiers will take place on February 7, followed by the Japanese qualifiers on February 8, both starting at 2 p.m. local time. Matches will be livestreamed in Korean and Japanese on the official Summoners War YouTube channels.
The qualifiers will use a seeded format. Eight lower-seeded players will compete in a single-elimination first round, after which the top four seeds will enter the second round. From the second round onward, a double-elimination system will be applied, allowing players a second chance through the lower bracket after a loss.
In Korea, notable contenders include last year’s tournament MVP KUROMI!, former Summoners War World Arena Championship (SWC) winner BEATD, and returning competitor IROHA. Japan’s qualifiers will feature established players such as KAMECHAN and MATSU, along with OSADASAN, OSSERU, and BLUEWHALE10.
Two players have already secured direct entry to the main event based on their performances at SWC 2025. Korea’s SCHOLES, who advanced to the Asia-Pacific Cup, and Japan’s TAKUZO10, a World Finalist, have been named automatic qualifiers for their respective national teams.
The players selected through the online qualifiers will face off in the offline finals scheduled for March 14 in Osaka, Japan, where the final national representatives will be determined.
Further details on the Korea–Japan Super Match 2026 qualifiers are available through the official Summoners War community channels.
