Hanwha Vision unveiled its latest AI-powered video surveillance technologies at SECON 2026, South Korea’s largest security exhibition.
The company participated in the event, which opened on March 18 at KINTEX in Ilsan, presenting AI cameras equipped with its new system-on-chip (SoC), Wisenet 9. This marks Hanwha Vision’s first solo booth appearance at the exhibition since 2023.
The showcase focused on allowing visitors to experience the core capabilities of Wisenet 9. A dark room setup demonstrated the camera’s low-light performance, supported by a dual NPU (neural processing unit) architecture that separates image enhancement and AI analytics, enabling stable performance even in extremely dark environments. The cameras also feature AI-based noise reduction technology for improved image clarity.
In the “Wisenet AI Zone,” the company demonstrated video surveillance solutions tailored for industrial applications such as manufacturing, logistics, and transportation. Visitors were able to observe how AI cameras could be applied in real-world scenarios.
Hanwha Vision also highlighted its Dynamic Privacy Masking (DPM) technology, which protects sensitive personal information by masking identifiable features in real time, displaying only silhouettes on monitoring screens.
Additionally, the company introduced its end-to-end solutions covering the entire lifecycle of surveillance systems, from design and configuration to maintenance. These include DesignPro for system planning, ConfigPro for remote device setup, and HealthPro for real-time monitoring of equipment status.
Through its participation, Hanwha Vision aimed to demonstrate the capabilities of its AI surveillance technologies and explore opportunities for broader market adoption.
