Netmarble announced the grand launch of its multiplayer open-world action RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, developed by Netmarble F&C, on March 24 at midnight via Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Following its early release on PlayStation 5 and Steam on March 17, the game received positive feedback from global users. During the pre-download phase on mobile, it ranked No. 1 on Apple App Store popularity charts in major markets including Korea, Japan, the United States, and Taiwan, signaling strong anticipation ahead of its official launch.
With the mobile release, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin now offers full cross-platform support across console, PC, and mobile. The mobile version features a customized UI and interface optimized for smaller screens, while users can seamlessly continue gameplay across platforms through account linking with the PlayStation 5 and Steam versions.
To celebrate the grand launch, Netmarble is offering growth-support missions that reward materials for crafting two SR engraving equipment items and one SSR engraving equipment item.
In addition, players can receive approximately 59,000 “Stellar Fragments” for hero summons, along with 90 standard hero summon tickets as in-game rewards. Through launch events, users can obtain a wide range of bonuses, including SSR heroes “Guila” and “Lance of Black Flame Wings,” an SSR craftable weapon selection box, 60 additional summon tickets, 10 pickup summon tickets, and 4,300 Stellar Fragments—enough for up to 373 hero summons in total.
A pickup event featuring the original protagonist Meliodas is also underway, alongside a limited-time event running through April 8 that allows players to acquire the exclusive costume “Sacred Treasure: Demon Sword Lostvayne.”
Netmarble has also released a new promotional video on its official YouTube channel to commemorate the launch. The video blends live-action footage with 3D modeling, featuring key characters from The Seven Deadly Sins appearing in major cities such as Seoul, Tokyo, and New York, inviting players into the world of Britannia.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is based on the globally popular manga The Seven Deadly Sins, which has sold over 55 million copies worldwide. The game introduces an original storyline that expands the original universe with a multiverse concept, offering an accessible yet immersive experience.
The launch version includes 18 playable heroes, featuring fan-favorite characters such as Meliodas, Tristan, Diane, and King, alongside original characters unique to the game. Players can freely explore iconic locations from the series, including Liones Castle, the Fairy Forest, and Baste Prison, bringing the anime world to life.
Combat is built around a four-hero team system that allows players to switch characters dynamically during battle, enhancing strategic depth. Different combinations of heroes and weapons offer varied combat styles, while cooperative skills between characters add further excitement. The game also features multiplayer content, enabling players to form parties with friends to explore the open world or challenge powerful bosses together.
