Mirae Asset Global Investments announced on January 22 that the combined net asset value of its TIGER China Humanoid Robot ETF (0053L0) and TIGER Korea Humanoid Robot Industry ETF (0148J0) has surpassed KRW 900 billion.

According to data from the Korea Exchange, as of January 21 the TIGER China Humanoid Robot ETF held net assets of KRW 483.4 billion, while the TIGER Korea Humanoid Robot Industry ETF stood at KRW 444.5 billion. Amid growing investor interest in physical AI, the China-focused ETF ranked first in net assets among humanoid robot ETFs listed in Korea. The Korea-focused ETF also recorded the highest net individual investor inflows among theme ETFs, attracting KRW 335.2 billion since the beginning of the year.

The TIGER China Humanoid Robot ETF is the largest humanoid robot ETF listed in Korea and focuses on China’s humanoid robotics industry, leveraging the country’s manufacturing capabilities, supply chain strength, and rapid pace of AI commercialization. As humanoid robots expand into industrial and service applications, the ETF is structured to provide efficient exposure to leading Chinese companies positioned at the center of this industrial transformation.

The TIGER Korea Humanoid Robot Industry ETF sold out its initial offering within 15 minutes of listing on January 6. Investor interest in Korea’s humanoid robotics sector surged after Korean companies demonstrated strong competitiveness in physical AI at CES 2026, the world’s largest technology exhibition. Since its listing, the ETF has delivered a return of 43.00%.

Mirae Asset Global Investments has highlighted “Humanoid” as the “H” in its 2026 investment keyword framework, H.O.R.S.E., underscoring the long-term growth potential of the sector. The humanoid robotics industry is characterized by a multilayered ecosystem in which complete robot manufacturers grow alongside AI software, sensors, actuators, reducers, vision and control systems, batteries, materials, and production equipment. Reflecting these characteristics, the firm has developed two TIGER humanoid robot ETFs to enable investors to access the broader industry ecosystem.

“The TIGER China Humanoid Robot ETF and the TIGER Korea Humanoid Robot Industry ETF offer solutions that allow investors to gain exposure to the humanoid robotics ecosystem itself by covering core companies and value chains in each market,” said Jeong Ui-hyeon, head of ETF Management at Mirae Asset Global Investments. “Through the TIGER Humanoid series, which focuses on genuine humanoid-related companies rather than legacy robotics, investors may benefit from growth opportunities across the physical AI ecosystem.”
