- Surge in actual use of innovative medical devices… full-scale integration with aortic/pulmonary embolism AI.
Coreline Soft, a specialist in AI medical solutions, continues to see rapid growth in its brain haemorrhage detection and diagnosis software medical device, AVIEW NeuroCAD, which has surpassed 30,000 cumulative cases since entering the non-covered/selective coverage market last year.
According to the company, AVIEW NeuroCAD surpassed 10,000 cases just nine months after its initial paid launch in May 2024, and now records usage of over 10,000 cases per quarter. This market performance is also reflected in actual sales. By August this year, AVIEW NeuroCAD accounted for around 8–9% of cumulative domestic sales, establishing itself as a significant revenue source. Driven by steep usage growth, its sales share is projected to expand to over 10%. For a product in its second year to capture a double-digit percentage of total sales is a clear indicator of its competitive strength in the market.
The rapid growth of AVIEW NeuroCAD is driven by its designation as an 'Innovative Medical Device'. As a designated Innovative Medical Device allowing non-covered prescriptions, NeuroCAD is experiencing continuous expansion among adopting medical institutions. Crucially, it is attracting attention because usage rates at existing adopting hospitals are steadily rising.
This signifies that, beyond mere adoption, the utility and reliability of Aiview NeuroCAD are being validated in real clinical settings. The fact that medical professionals repeatedly choose and increase their usage of Aiview NeuroCAD is evidence that it is being recognised as having definite clinical value as AI diagnostic support software.
The company has now completed the development and approval process for its second and third innovative medical devices: AI diagnostic aids for aortic dissection (Aorta) and pulmonary embolism (PE), following NeuroCAD. This paves the way for the full launch of its ‘Emergency AI Package’ — an AI diagnostic software suite targeting three critical conditions diagnosed via CT imaging in emergency rooms.
Park Jun-min, CoreLineSoft's managing director and Chief Product Officer (CPO), who is also an emergency medicine specialist, stated: “The actual clinical utility and revenue contribution potential of our AI emergency products is being demonstrated in concrete terms.” He added: 'Platform integration in the emergency diagnosis domain, spearheaded by NeuroCAD, is expanding rapidly, and strategic package expansion will primarily focus on hospitals, both domestically and internationally, going forward.'
He further emphasised that, beyond simply generating revenue as a non-covered product, AI diagnostic tools must be absorbed into actual clinical workflows to benefit patients and medical staff genuinely. He concluded: 'NeuroCAD, the first to enter as an innovative medical device, has secured solid references in terms of medical staff trust and the speed of data-based validation. Synergies with subsequent products are also anticipated.'
