SINGAPORE — Jan. 14, 2026 — GrowthPal said it has raised $2.6 million in funding to accelerate development of its AI-based platform designed to support M&A deal sourcing and execution, particularly for mid-market and early-stage transactions.

The company said the round was led by Ideaspring Capital, with participation from angel investors. GrowthPal said the new capital will be used for product development and to expand its presence in the United States and other international markets.

GrowthPal positions its product as a tool for corporate development teams seeking to identify acquisition targets beyond deals that are already publicly marketed. The company said deal origination in the mid-market has remained largely dependent on banker networks, static databases, and research workflows that can take weeks or months to produce actionable target lists.

According to GrowthPal, its platform begins when a buyer defines a growth objective—such as entering a new geography or acquiring a specific capability. The system then converts that objective into a structured acquisition thesis and applies AI agents to scan a database of more than four million technology companies, using signals including public filings, web activity, hiring trends, and funding history.

The output, GrowthPal said, is a shorter list of target companies that more closely match a buyer’s criteria, including off-market companies that may not be actively pursuing a sale. The company said its approach aims to reduce time spent filtering and pursuing targets that ultimately do not progress to serious discussions.

GrowthPal said it was founded by Maneesh Bhandari, Shalu Mitruka, and Amaresh Shirsat to address inefficiencies in sourcing for deals below $70 million, which the company described as a segment that can receive less attention from traditional investment banks. The company also cited a broader market imbalance in which many startups do not achieve scale and may struggle to find timely exit opportunities, while acquirers face challenges identifying relevant targets efficiently.

GrowthPal said it has supported more than 42 completed M&A transactions and facilitated more than 210 LOI-stage conversations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The company said its clients include large enterprises, mid-market companies, startups, private equity-backed firms, and corporate development teams in sectors including IT services, SaaS, fintech, and vertical software.

In one example, GrowthPal said a single client completed seven acquisitions in 18 months using the platform. The company did not disclose the client name or transaction values.

Ideaspring Capital Managing Partner Naganand Doraswamy said GrowthPal is addressing an area of the M&A process that has not been optimized, particularly around initial target discovery and speed of outreach. He said the firm’s approach could support a more systematic process compared with tools that primarily aggregate data.

GrowthPal said its next product roadmap includes expanding the platform beyond sourcing into later stages of transactions, including valuation support, deal structuring, and preparation for negotiations. The company said its long-term goal is to provide an intelligence layer that supports decision-making from target discovery through deal execution.
