CGBio said it successfully concluded education programs and a symposium on minimally invasive spine surgery during the 2nd Annual World UBE Society America Conference held in California.
The conference, organized by World UBE Society America, serves as an international academic platform in the field of biportal endoscopic spine surgery. Spine specialists from the United States, Korea, Europe and the Middle East participated as organizing members and speakers, sharing the latest surgical techniques and clinical experiences.
The program consisted of a cadaver-based hands-on training session on the first day and a symposium on the second day. The practical training was conducted at the anatomical lab facilities of UCI Orange Medical Center in Orange County, California, while the symposium was held at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach. More than 100 spine endoscopy specialists attended.
The first-day hands-on session integrated CGBio’s minimally invasive spine surgery solution, including spine implants, endoscopic instruments, RF systems, drill systems and the Solendos Endo Tower. Participants practiced surgical approaches, decompression and fusion techniques under guidance from key opinion leaders from Korea and the United States.
The second-day symposium covered emerging trends such as robotics and navigation-assisted minimally invasive spine surgery, clinical strategies for the U.S. market and case studies shared by global surgeons. CGBio participated as a top-tier sponsor.
The company said the event reaffirmed the growth potential of its minimally invasive spine surgery solutions in the United States and Latin America. CGBio plans to strengthen its academic network in North America by fostering participating physicians as future speakers and key opinion leaders.
CEO Hyun Seung Yoo said the event provided an opportunity to present the company’s integrated minimally invasive spine solutions directly to U.S. medical professionals, adding that CGBio will continue expanding its spine business in the Americas through education-driven initiatives.
