As institutional adoption of digital assets moves beyond experimentation and into large-scale implementation, SCRYPT has strengthened its executive leadership with the appointment of Adam Parnell as Vice President of Growth, signaling the company's next phase of international expansion.

The Zurich-based digital asset infrastructure provider announced on July 29 (local time) that Parnell will lead its global commercial growth strategy as demand accelerates for institutional-grade stablecoin infrastructure and digital asset services.

The appointment comes as SCRYPT broadens its international presence, particularly following its recent expansion into African payment and settlement corridors. The company said the initiative enhances its ability to support financial institutions and enterprises seeking faster and more efficient cross-border settlement while reinforcing its position as a provider of enterprise-grade digital asset infrastructure.

In his new role, Parnell will oversee institutional client acquisition, strategic partnerships, market expansion, and global go-to-market initiatives. His mandate includes extending SCRYPT's reach beyond crypto-native businesses to banks, asset managers, fintech companies, payment providers, and corporate treasury organizations adopting digital asset infrastructure.

"The next stage of digital asset adoption will be driven by institutions that can combine trusted infrastructure with strong commercial execution," said Norman Wooding, Founder and CEO of SCRYPT.

"Adam brings more than two decades of experience building high-performing commercial organizations across traditional finance, fintech, and digital assets. His ability to translate strategy into execution, develop long-term client relationships, and identify new growth opportunities will be invaluable as we continue expanding SCRYPT's global footprint."

Parnell brings more than 20 years of experience in business development, sales leadership, account management, and commercial strategy across financial services and technology.

Before joining SCRYPT, he held partnership and client solutions positions at Zodia Markets, where he worked with institutional clients participating in digital asset markets. He also served as Business Development Director for Europe and the Americas at Liminal, contributing to the expansion of institutional digital asset custody services across international markets.

Earlier in his career, Parnell held senior commercial leadership positions at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), leading business development initiatives across technology and enterprise sectors.

Commenting on his appointment, Parnell emphasized that long-term success in digital assets depends on execution rather than strategy alone.

"Great strategy only matters if you can execute it," he said. "SCRYPT has built a strong foundation for institutional digital assets, and I'm excited to help translate that into long-term growth."

"My focus will be on expanding strategic partnerships, entering new markets, and helping more businesses unlock the value of digital assets through trusted institutional infrastructure."

As global financial institutions increasingly integrate stablecoins and blockchain-based settlement into mainstream operations, industry observers see commercial execution and enterprise partnerships becoming as critical as technological innovation. SCRYPT's latest executive appointment reflects a broader industry shift in which digital asset providers are increasingly competing on institutional adoption, global distribution, and financial infrastructure rather than blockchain technology alone.
