Sharjah, UAE – October 16, 2025 — BEEAH Group has partnered with The Hashgraph Group (THG), a Swiss Web3 technology firm within the Hedera ecosystem, to implement a decentralized digital identity (DID) solution across its operations. The agreement, signed during GITEX Global 2025, aims to create a unified, secure identity framework spanning BEEAH’s businesses in environment, energy, real estate, technology, and healthcare.
The initiative is supported by The Hashgraph Association (THA) under its Enterprise Accelerator Program and introduces IDTrust, THG’s self-sovereign identity platform built on Hedera’s distributed ledger technology. The system will provide a privacy-focused, verifiable identity layer for individuals and organizations within BEEAH’s network.
Founded in 2007, BEEAH has evolved from a waste management company into a diversified group operating in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Its activities center on sustainability and digital transformation, with operations extending to smart city projects, energy transition, and environmental services.
BEEAH Group CEO and Vice Chairman Khaled Al Huraimel said the introduction of decentralized identity technology marks an important step in integrating secure digital access across its entities. The rollout will begin with employee and partner identity management before expanding to real estate developments, healthcare facilities, and other business areas. Future stages may include cooperation with government and municipal stakeholders to extend decentralized identity services more broadly.
According to THA President Kamal Youssefi, the project reflects the MENA region’s growing adoption of advanced digital technologies and aligns with Hedera’s mission to support enterprise and government applications of distributed ledger systems.
THG’s IDTrust platform uses quantum-secure cryptography to authenticate and manage credentials for individuals and organizations. Potential applications include verification for banking, healthcare, education, and e-government services.
Stefan Deiss, Co-Founder and CEO of THG, said the collaboration demonstrates how enterprises can apply privacy-first digital identity frameworks to enhance trust and operational efficiency.
Market data from Grandview Research estimates the global decentralized digital identity market was valued at approximately USD 648 million in 2022 and could reach USD 102 billion by 2030, driven by increasing demand for secure, user-controlled authentication systems.
BEEAH’s deployment is expected to serve as a regional example of how Hedera-based identity systems can support digital governance and improve access to connected services.
