Samsung Electronics’ C-Lab Exhibition Pavilion attracted strong attention from visitors at CES 2026, the world’s largest IT and consumer electronics exhibition, which opened on January 6 in Las Vegas. Located in Eureka Park, the pavilion showcased a wide range of innovative technologies in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital health, developed by Samsung’s in-house ventures and supported startups.

A total of 15 companies participated in this year’s C-Lab exhibition. These included eight startups from the external incubation program C-Lab Outside, two in-house ventures from C-Lab Inside, one company nurtured in cooperation with the Daegu Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, and four companies from Samsung Financial Networks C-Lab Outside, which joined the exhibition for the first time this year. Among the participants, seven startups were based in the Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Gwangju regions, marking the largest-ever presence of regional companies in the history of the C-Lab exhibition.

Several regional startups that received CES Innovation Awards also drew significant interest. Repla, a Gyeongbuk-based startup, presented its “Purichecker” analysis equipment and technology that uses microorganisms to decompose impurities during the recycling process and produce high-purity recycled plastics. DeepScent, a Gwangju-based startup, showcased an AI-powered personalized scent streaming solution that delivers customized fragrances in real time for individuals and spaces, earning a CES Innovation Award in the smart home category.

Ronik, a startup developing AI-powered cooking robots, unveiled its modular cooking robot system, CUBE. Using sensor-based physical AI technology, the system detects the condition of ingredients and automatically performs cooking processes. Ronik improved the system’s technological maturity through on-site testing and feedback supported by the C-Lab program.

The startups participating in this year’s C-Lab exhibition demonstrated their technological competitiveness by winning two Best Innovation Awards and 15 Innovation Awards at CES 2026. Samsung Electronics plans to continue supporting the startup ecosystem, enabling promising companies across regions and industries to expand into global markets.
