Crown Confectionery has introduced a new premium version of its flagship snack, C Cone Chip, evolving the popular corn snack into a richer, cheese-infused product under the name “C Cone Chip Gold.”
The new product builds on the signature savory and smooth taste of the original C Cone Chip by incorporating a generous amount of cheddar cheese. Designed as a real cheese corn snack, it combines the natural nuttiness of corn with the salty richness of cheese, delivering a balanced flavor profile. Compared to its predecessor, the cheddar cheese content has been increased by 89%, significantly enhancing both taste and aroma.
The cheddar used in the product is sourced from Denmark, widely recognized for producing high-quality cheese. With one of the highest cheese contents among corn snacks in Korea, the product offers a distinctive blend of savory and salty notes that provides a satisfying experience from the first bite to the last.
Visually, the snack is coated with a rich layer of cheddar seasoning, giving it a vibrant golden-yellow color that reflects its intense cheese flavor. The aroma is immediately noticeable upon opening the package, reinforcing its positioning as a real cheese snack. The packaging design also emphasizes this identity, featuring a gold color inspired by cheddar cheese.
A Crown Confectionery official stated that the new product expands consumer choice by adding a cheddar-based variation to the iconic C Cone Chip lineup. The company expects the combination of familiar corn flavor and enhanced cheesiness to appeal to both existing fans and new customers.
