Global Industrie (8th Edition) will run from March 30 to April 2, 2026, at Paris Nord Villepinte in France. Organizers expect the four-day event to function as a large-scale live demonstration floor, bringing together industrial technologies and production equipment in operation.
According to event organizers, 2,300 exhibitors will participate and more than 3,000 machines will be operating on site. The 2026 edition is positioned around themes including reindustrialization, industrial sovereignty, and sustainability-related constraints affecting manufacturers and supply chains.
GI Awards 2026: Selection Process and Categories
A key feature of the show is the GI Awards, which recognize industrial innovations presented at the exhibition. For 2026, around one hundred applications were submitted, and 21 innovations were shortlisted.
Following a “Grand Oral” presentation session held on Tuesday, March 3, a jury composed of industry professionals and journalists selected four solutions, one in each of the following categories:
Responsible Industry
Digital Innovation
Industrial Performance & Efficiency
Technological Transformation
Two additional distinctions were also announced:
A “Startup” Award, dedicated to an industrial startup
The Jury’s Favourite Award
The GI Awards ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, 2026, on the exhibition’s Grande Scène.
Innovation Themes Highlighted by the 2026 Winners
Organizers describe the 2026 winning and shortlisted innovations as reflecting two broad directions: expanding access to advanced industrial capabilities, and strengthening safety and ergonomics in industrial workplaces.
1) Lowering the Barrier to Advanced Industrial Technology
Several recognized solutions focus on making systems that were previously costly or complex easier to deploy for a wider range of manufacturers.
Forx is presented as an autonomous mobile robot that uses AI-based pallet detection, designed to be deployed without dedicated infrastructure, and offered through a rental model.
Fuzzy Logic Robotics (WeldMate) targets welding automation with a no-code interface operated from a tablet, aiming to enable operators to program robotic welding workflows within minutes.
Misutech applies digital simulation to machining processes to help manufacturers anticipate defects, support production decisions, and reduce scrap rates.
2) Centering Safety, Communication, and Ergonomics
A second cluster of awarded innovations emphasizes workplace conditions, including communication in high-noise environments, handling of heavy components, and safer training methods.
Safehear is designed to improve communication in noisy industrial settings, using a system intended to filter background noise while transmitting the human voice clearly.
Labadis focuses on manual handling risks, offering a compact lifting system aimed at reducing physical strain during the movement of heavy parts and improving workstation ergonomics.
Seabery is recognized for an augmented reality paint simulator, positioned as a training tool that aims to improve operator learning efficiency while reducing the costs and risks typically associated with training on live equipment.
Positioning of the 2026 Awarded Innovations
Taken together, the GI Awards 2026 winners and highlighted finalists are framed as examples of industrial development that combines technology adoption, operational performance, and workforce-focused progress, reflecting broader pressures on manufacturers to modernize while managing cost, safety, and sustainability expectations.
