SEOUL, Korea – February 2, 2026 – Samsung Electronics announced that its 2026 OLED TV lineup and next-generation Odyssey gaming monitors are NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible. The company said the certification is intended to improve gameplay smoothness for users with NVIDIA GeForce GPUs.
NVIDIA G-SYNC synchronizes a display’s refresh rate with a compatible NVIDIA GeForce GPU’s frame rate to help reduce screen tearing and stuttering. Samsung said G-SYNC Compatible models include the OLED S95H, S90H, and S85H TVs, as well as the Odyssey G6 gaming monitors (G60H, G61SH).
A Samsung executive said the company is focusing on delivering a consistent gaming experience across its OLED TVs and gaming monitors.
Odyssey G6 refresh-rate features
Samsung said the 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60H) supports up to a 1,040Hz refresh rate using Dual Mode, which allows users to switch between HD at very high frame rates and native QHD at up to 600Hz.
For users prioritizing picture quality, Samsung said the 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G61SH) uses a QD-OLED panel with QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. The company also cited a 0.03ms GTG response time and support for HDR10+ GAMING.
Both Odyssey G6 models are listed as NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, according to Samsung.
2026 OLED TVs: gaming features and HDR updates
Samsung said its 2026 OLED TV lineup targets gaming use cases, with the S95H and S90H supporting refresh rates up to 165Hz and the S85H up to 120Hz. In addition to G-SYNC compatibility, Samsung said the lineup supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for tear-reduced HDR gaming across compatible platforms.
The company also introduced HDR10+ ADVANCED for the 2026 OLED lineup, describing it as an updated HDR format intended to improve brightness, contrast, motion handling, and color accuracy. Samsung added that its Glare Free technology is applied to the S95H and S90H models to reduce reflections while maintaining OLED picture quality.
