On November 11, Daewoong Pharmaceutical announced that it held the 'Nabota Master Class LATAM (NMC LATAM)' from November 6 to 7 in Seoul and Hwaseong, inviting prominent medical professionals from Argentina.
This event was designed to enhance the recognition and trust of the Nabota brand in the Argentine market, focusing on sharing Nabota's clinical excellence and procedural know-how. Comprehensive training and educational sessions centered around Daewoong's proprietary procedures, 'NaboLift' and 'NaboGlow,' were prominently featured.
The NaboLift procedure involves injecting Nabota into both the skin and muscle layers to achieve complex cosmetic effects such as facial contouring, lifting, and wrinkle reduction. On the other hand, NaboGlow focuses on improving skin texture and elasticity, aiming to create a more natural and healthy skin tone.
During the event, directors Jiho Park and Changhyun Kim from Cheongdam Oaro Dermatology Clinic conducted lectures based on clinical cases and live demonstrations of the procedures. Attendees observed these live sessions to gain in-depth understanding of Nabota's effectiveness and the technical aspects of the procedures. Additionally, they visited the Nabota plant in Hyangnam and local medical institutions to witness Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s globally competitive production systems and quality control capabilities firsthand.
Nabota, Daewoong’s botulinum toxin product, became the first and only domestic product to receive approval in Argentina last year after passing stringent regulations. It is currently sold under the brand name 'CLODEW' through the local partner, Oxapharma.
Both companies are actively expanding educational programs for medical professionals while also engaging in consumer marketing through social media and digital platforms. They are particularly focused on strengthening brand awareness among the MZ generation, who value 'natural and refined beauty.'
Junsu Yoon, Head of Nabota Business Division at Daewoong Pharmaceutical, stated, "Argentina is one of the top three healthcare markets in Latin America, with a global second-place ranking in the rate of cosmetic procedures relative to the population, indicating high demand for cosmetic medical care.” He added, “By advancing medical education and targeted marketing towards the MZ generation, we aim to diversify the market and establish Nabota as a premium brand across Latin America.”
