UR and TopNod said they have entered a partnership to offer a co-branded Mastercard and integrated user accounts aimed at connecting digital asset holdings with everyday payments.
Under the arrangement, TopNod users will be able to manage fiat and digital assets within the wallet app, convert selected digital assets into fiat currencies, and use those funds for spending through the card in supported jurisdictions. The companies said the service supports multiple currencies, including the U.S. dollar, euro, Swiss franc and Japanese yen.
The partnership combines TopNod’s non-custodial wallet interface with UR’s payment and account infrastructure. According to the companies, users will be able to access account and card functions inside the TopNod app rather than moving between separate services.
UR said its system currently supports direct conversion for more than 20 digital assets, including bitcoin, ether, solana and mantle. The companies added that yields generated from tokenized real-world assets and other digital asset holdings can also be converted into spendable fiat.
The firms said settlement is handled through UR’s smart-contract-based infrastructure, which they described as a way to reduce reliance on intermediary custody while maintaining on-chain transaction records. They also said the system is designed to support compliance requirements through third-party providers in jurisdictions where the service is available.
The co-branded Mastercard will be issued by SR Saphirstein AG, a Swiss entity supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, according to the announcement. Eligibility and availability will depend on jurisdiction. The companies also said TopNod users in supported markets will have access to on-ramp and off-ramp services, including 1:1 USDC-to-USD conversion.
UR and TopNod said the partnership is intended to make it easier for users to move between digital assets and conventional payments within a single application. The launch reflects a broader push across the digital asset sector to connect tokenized holdings and blockchain-based financial services with consumer payment tools.
