Netmarble announced on November 14 that it has set up the first hands-on demo booth for its upcoming console and PC title “Evil Bane,” developed by Netmarble Monster, at the company’s pavilion during G-STAR 2025.
“Evil Bane” is a third-person cooperative action game set in a dark fantasy universe. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game features high-quality graphics and strategic combat that allows players to switch seamlessly between melee and ranged weapons. In addition to individual character progression, players must work together to liberate occupied territories and achieve the shared objective of reclaiming the realm.
At the G-STAR 2025 show floor, Netmarble prepared a special mission demo featuring four distinct playable characters. The PC demo supports Xbox controllers, and the game is also optimized for the latest UMPC “ROG Xbox Ally X,” allowing visitors to experience the title in both console and PC environments.
Netmarble is engaging visitors with interactive programs such as stamp missions, photo challenges, and influencer-led stage events. Participants can win various rewards, including “Evil Bane” merchandise and one-month subscription codes for PC and Xbox Game Pass.
Recently, “Evil Bane” opened wishlisting on Xbox and Steam, and began recruiting players for its playtest. This marks the first test involving Korean users, and participants who complete the accompanying survey will have their Discord nicknames included in the game’s ending credits after launch.
More details can be found on the official “Evil Bane” website as well as the game’s Xbox and Steam pages.
