Qualcomm Korea hosted the graduation ceremony for the ‘2025 Seoul-Style Youth Internship Job Camp,’ marking the successful conclusion of this year’s program. The event was attended by Kwon Oh-hyung, President of Qualcomm APAC, along with company mentors and interns, who celebrated the achievements of the four-month initiative.
The program, led by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, aims to strengthen youth employment capabilities by offering hands-on experience in real industry environments. More than 70 organizations, including global corporations and international agencies, participate annually to help young people gain practical skills and explore career opportunities.
Since the program’s launch in 2021, Qualcomm Korea has been an active participant, helping nurture future professionals in the global IT field. This year, eight interns were assigned to departments such as Sales, HR, Product Marketing, and Business Operations from July to November, where they gained specialized knowledge and experience in global business operations.
In addition to on-the-job training, Qualcomm Korea provided structured learning opportunities through mentoring, global communication workshops, and technology training sessions, helping interns enhance both their technical understanding and cross-cultural skills.
Kwon Oh-hyung, President of Qualcomm APAC, said, “It is meaningful that Qualcomm has supported the Seoul Youth Internship Job Camp for five consecutive years, providing young people with opportunities to develop their potential in practical industry settings.” He added, “Through edge AI innovation, Qualcomm continues to redefine how people and devices connect. We hope the experience gained here will help young talents grow into future leaders of the digital convergence era.”
