LS Group will present its future battery industry strategy by showcasing technologies spanning battery materials, energy storage systems (ESS), electric vehicles (EV), and data centers at InterBattery 2026, South Korea’s largest battery industry exhibition.

LS ELECTRIC announced on March 9 that it will participate in InterBattery 2026, held at COEX in Seoul from March 11 to 13, together with six affiliates: LS MnM, LS Materials, LS Alsco, LS Sauter, LS e-Mobility Solutions, and LS TiraYutec.

The companies will jointly operate a 406-square-meter exhibition space with 45 booths, highlighting solutions across six key themes: energy storage systems, direct current (DC) solutions, data centers, future materials, electric vehicles, and smart factories.

Under the theme “From Materials to Energy: Every Step of the Battery Works with LS,” the group plans to showcase a comprehensive range of solutions covering the next-generation power ecosystem—from battery materials to energy infrastructure and data center technologies.

LS ELECTRIC will feature its next-generation ESS solutions and DC power platforms as key strategic products.

Its All-in-One ESS Platform is designed to improve energy efficiency and operational stability by analyzing real-time data collected from sensors installed in batteries and power conversion systems (PCS). The AI-based system predicts electricity usage and detects potential failures in advance.

The company will also introduce its industrial modular ESS solution, the MSSP (Modular Scalable String Platform), developed using LS ELECTRIC’s expertise in power conversion and industrial drive technologies.

In addition, LS ELECTRIC will unveil its DC Factory Solution, a platform for DC power distribution management, along with next-generation components including solid-state transformers (SST), DC-DC converters, and solid-state circuit breakers (SSCB).

LS MnM will present the progress and long-term vision of its battery materials business through visualized content explaining its global supply chain and business processes.

The company is building a vertically integrated supply chain from raw material sourcing to production to meet global regulatory requirements with transparent Non-PFE supply networks. It is also investing in a nickel smelter in Indonesia to secure stable raw material supply. Meanwhile, its battery materials plant under construction in the Onsan Industrial Complex in Ulsan is expected to begin mass production in the fourth quarter after test operations later this year.

LS Materials will introduce ultra-capacitor energy storage solutions designed to address peak power issues in AI data centers. At the exhibition, the company will also debut its Celldule, an integrated cell-module ultra-capacitor optimized for high-performance energy applications.

LS Alsco, together with its joint venture HAIMK, will showcase high-purity aluminum materials and key components used in battery manufacturing processes, along with advanced materials technologies designed to improve battery performance and safety.

LS Sauter will present its data center infrastructure management (DCIM) solution Beyond X CUBE. The platform integrates AI video analytics for battery fire monitoring, small language model-based battery diagnostics, AI-powered HVAC optimization, and digital twin-based thermal and airflow analysis using real-time fluid simulation.

LS e-Mobility Solutions will highlight new EV relay and Power Relay Assembly (PRA) products—key safety components used in electric vehicles.

LS TiraYutec will introduce an AI-driven integrated operations model that connects people, systems, and robots through artificial intelligence, leveraging over 20 years of manufacturing consulting experience and smart factory implementation projects with battery manufacturers.

An LS ELECTRIC official said the joint participation reflects the group’s strategy to showcase its collective competitiveness in energy and mobility sectors, emphasizing synergies across affiliates covering the entire battery industry ecosystem—from materials to mobility and data center infrastructure.
