NCSoft announced that its new MMORPG, “AION2,” will officially launch in Korea and Taiwan at midnight on November 19.
Players can pre-install the game via NCSoft’s gaming platform PURPLE, with full gameplay available starting at 12:00 a.m. on the 19th.
AION2 is a next-generation MMORPG developed with the goal of creating a “complete edition” of the original AION. The game inherits the franchise’s symbolic identity, including the eternal conflict between the Elyos and Asmodians and eight unique character classes. Key features include high-quality graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5, dynamic manual combat with late-hit judgment, extensive PvE content, and detailed character customization.
Baek Seung-wook, Executive Producer of AION2, said, “AION2 presents a complete world where players can walk, fly, swim, and explore endlessly—everything the original title dreamed of. We hope players will join us on their first journey to becoming a Daeva.”
