SideShift.ai has launched SideShift.us, a U.S.-focused crypto swap platform available to residents in 46 states, as demand grows for faster non-custodial digital asset transactions.
The San Francisco launch, announced on June 23, marks SideShift.ai’s formal entry into the U.S. market. The company said the platform had been quietly available to U.S. users since late November 2025, allowing it to test demand before the public rollout.
SideShift.ai operates a direct-to-wallet exchange model, enabling users to swap digital assets without moving funds through a traditional exchange account. The company said its global platform has processed more than $3 billion in lifetime volume.
The U.S. platform supports more than 300 digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, across multiple blockchain networks. During the initial rollout, SideShift.us recorded a median settlement time of 44 seconds for completed swaps, according to the company.
The platform also includes transaction monitoring and 24-hour customer support. SideShift.ai said its median first response time during the rollout was 3 minutes and 6 seconds.
“U.S. users have historically been underserved in the crypto swap space,” said Andreas Brekken, founder of SideShift. “Platforms today rely on slow execution, opaque pricing, and limited customer support. SideShift is built around a different model: fast direct-to-wallet swaps supported by real-time operational oversight.”
SideShift.us is currently available in 46 states, excluding Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts and New York. The company said its near-term focus is expanding access for eligible U.S. users while improving operational performance and customer support.
The launch comes as the U.S. crypto market sees growing interest in non-custodial infrastructure and self-custody-based financial products. For swap providers, execution speed, pricing transparency, asset coverage and regulatory access are becoming key factors in market competition.
