Samyang Foods announced on November 14 that the global campaign featuring boy group ENHYPEN, the official global ambassador for its MEP brand, has surpassed 250 million cumulative views just 40 days after its release.
The main advertisement, which launched on October 1, showcases the MEP brand seamlessly integrated into ENHYPEN’s daily routines, highlighting the product’s diverse appeal. Additional videos featuring the members enjoying MEP products while camping, grocery shopping, video chatting, and livestreaming were released in succession, drawing strong interest from global fans.
Across major platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X, content matched to each member’s personality spread rapidly. Fans actively shared the videos, and local influencers contributed by posting related content, further amplifying the campaign’s reach.
As a result, the campaign surpassed 100 million views within 18 days of release, crossed 200 million views by day 28, and reached 250 million views by day 40, maintaining steady global momentum.
By country, Malaysia accounted for the largest share with 32.4 percent of total views. Samyang Foods had previously conducted aggressive marketing in the region, including the MEP brand launch and a pop-up store event in May. Thailand followed with 31.4 percent, with Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines showing strong interest as well.
Given the positive global response to its collaboration with ENHYPEN, Samyang Foods plans to further strengthen marketing activities in each market. In Korea, the company began offering “ENHYPEN I-MEPTANG photos” as a gift with purchases of MEP-Tang products through official sales channels starting November 13, drawing enthusiastic attention from fans.
A Samyang Foods representative said the campaign successfully generated broad engagement and voluntary participation across social media platforms.
