Com2uS’s flagship mobile title Summoners War: Sky Arena is heading into its SWC2025 World Final in Paris on November 1, as the tournament’s global profile continues to rise.
Launched by Com2uS (CEO Nam Jae‑kwan) as the first global esports tournament for a mobile game, the Summoners War World Arena Championship (SWC) will close this year’s season at La Seine Musicale, a major cultural and performance venue in Paris, drawing strong local fan interest.
SWC2025 has expanded touchpoints with Summoners War fans worldwide. Regional qualifiers began in July in Southeast Asia and proceeded across Asia — including Korea — as well as Europe and the Americas.
Notably, the America Cup was held for the first time in São Paulo, Brazil, reflecting strong enthusiasm across Latin America including Mexico, Paraguay and Peru. The Asia‑Pacific Cup also debuted in Busan, attracting local supporters and international players and fans to create a festival‑like atmosphere.
Com2uS founded SWC in 2017 to support Summoners War’s long‑term global growth and to provide players worldwide with new experiences and community opportunities, an initiative driven by Chairman Song Byung‑joon. Since its inception, SWC has grown in scale and scope each year and is now a leading global stage for mobile esports.
Last year’s SWC2024 World Final in Tokyo, held as Summoners War celebrated its 10th anniversary, was widely praised as a true global esports festival that united the game, its fans and the competitive scene. Chairman Song attended the event, watched matches with fans and presented awards.
Now in its ninth year, SWC2025 has confirmed 12 World Finalists through the Asia‑Pacific, Europe and America Cups and the China regional qualifiers. The Paris World Final will crown a new champion, with all matches broadcast live on the official Summoners War esports YouTube and Twitch channels with professional commentary in 13 languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Portuguese and French. On‑site interactive programs such as prediction events will be available for global attendees.
Over more than a decade, Summoners War has established itself as a leading global mobile RPG by delivering strategic gameplay and deep player engagement.
