Hana Bank announced on November 13 that it has officially launched the “Hana The Next Wearable Robot Service” for senior customers at the Hana The Next Seocho Lounge.

The newly introduced service marks Hana The Next’s first health-tech initiative, developed in collaboration with wearable robot manufacturer Angel Robotics. By combining medical wearable robot experiences with financial consulting—such as retirement planning and inheritance or gift tax advisory—the program aims to offer more personalized and comprehensive support to senior clients.

The service also represents the first real-world application of the strategic partnership signed in September between Hana Financial Group and Angel Robotics, aimed at fostering future strategic industries through the convergence of robotics and finance. It showcases a new model of senior life-care services that blend financial offerings with advanced healthcare technology.

As part of the service launch, Hana Bank conducted a pilot program that allowed senior customers to test the “AngelSuit H10,” a hip-assist wearable robot designed for rehabilitation and mobility support. Professional physical therapists were on-site to analyze gait and provide customized exercise feedback, giving participants access to high-end medical equipment typically available only in major hospitals.

The experience program began on November 13 and will be held twice more on November 20 and 27. Hana Bank customers interested in participating can register via the Hana The Next website or the ARS reservation system.

Hana Bank plans to expand senior-friendly financial services and healthcare support through this initiative. Future plans include offering benefits for wearable robot purchases, expanding related financial products, and ultimately developing senior-specialized offerings.

A representative from the Hana The Next division said the program goes beyond a simple product demonstration, serving as the first example of using technology to enhance seniors’ health and mobility. The company aims to develop Hana The Next into an integrated senior brand that supports customers through all stages before and after retirement.
