LG Innotek will participate in CES 2026, held in Las Vegas from January 6 for four days, where it plans to unveil a wide range of future mobility innovation solutions.
Ahead of the exhibition, LG Innotek revealed its CES 2026 booth during a pre-booth tour for Korean media on January 5. The booth, spanning approximately 330 square meters, is located at the entrance of the West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). As in the previous year, the company has organized the exhibition around a dedicated mobility theme.
Upon entering the booth, visitors are greeted by a futuristic autonomous driving concept car mock-up, which serves as the centerpiece of the display. A total of 16 products related to autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are mounted on the mock-up vehicle.
Rather than presenting components individually, LG Innotek introduced its product lineup as integrated solutions organized by theme, combining hardware components with proprietary software. This exhibition strategy reflects the company’s business direction as it seeks to reposition itself from a conventional automotive parts supplier to a provider of customized, total mobility solutions in the era of AI-defined vehicles (AIDVs).
The autonomous driving mock-up showcases solutions covering both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. A key highlight is LG Innotek’s autonomous driving convergence sensing solution, which combines vehicle camera modules equipped with multiple advanced functions alongside LiDAR and radar technologies.
Among the showcased technologies are a heating camera module that rapidly melts snow and frost, and an active cleaning camera module that removes moisture and contaminants from the lens within one second. Although the modules are more compact than previous versions, their performance has been significantly enhanced through LG Innotek’s in-house software.
Another notable exhibit is a high-performance, ultra-compact LiDAR jointly developed with Aeva and unveiled for the first time at CES 2026. Capable of detecting objects up to 200 meters away, the LiDAR complements the limitations of cameras in long-range sensing.
Visitors can also experience the autonomous driving mock-up firsthand. By sitting in the driver’s seat and viewing a front-mounted LED screen, they can indirectly experience LG Innotek’s differentiated autonomous driving capabilities enabled by its sensing solutions.
The test ride experience also highlights LG Innotek’s in-cabin solutions. One of the first-time reveals at CES 2026 is the next-generation under-display camera module, which is installed behind the vehicle’s instrument cluster and remains invisible to the driver. Despite being concealed, the module ensures accurate facial recognition while maintaining image quality, thanks to LG Innotek’s proprietary AI-based image restoration software. The module also supports dual recording, allowing users to create vlog-style content while driving.
Another key in-cabin solution on display is the ultra-wideband (UWB) radar, which supports child presence detection (CPD) and enables hands-free trunk operation through a kick sensor function, both demonstrated during the exhibition.
Vehicle lighting solutions spanning the front, rear, and interior are also among the exhibition highlights. The autonomous driving mock-up features daytime running lights (DRLs), turn signals, and an ultra-slim pixel lighting module mounted on the front of the vehicle, which won a CES 2026 Innovation Award. The module uses ultra-high-resolution pixel-based lighting to enable precise text and pattern display. Also making its first physical debut is Nexlide Air, a protruding side lighting product installed between the headlamps. Both lighting solutions are made of silicone, offering greater design flexibility while reducing the risk of pedestrian injury from debris in the event of a collision.
Connectivity solutions are showcased through a 5G non-terrestrial network (5G-NTN) communication module that ensures uninterrupted connectivity even in blind spots via satellite links, an automotive application processor (AP) module that serves as the brain of AI-defined vehicles, and UWB digital keys that enable ultra-precise short-range communication. Together, these technologies significantly enhance driver safety and convenience.
LG Innotek has also prepared a separate electric vehicle (EV) mock-up that allows visitors to view its core EV components at a glance.
The EV mock-up features 15 integrated EV solutions, including the world’s first mass-produced 800V wireless battery management system (BMS) and B-Link (Battery-Link), which integrates the battery and battery junction box (BJB) into a single product to improve efficiency and reduce weight. Through this display, LG Innotek highlights its capabilities in compact, lightweight, and integrated vehicle architecture design, precise motor control, and wireless technologies.
Moon Hyuk-soo, CEO of LG Innotek, said that CES 2026 presents a valuable opportunity to secure new business opportunities in the autonomous driving and EV sectors. He added that the company aims to leap forward as a mobility innovation solution provider delivering differentiated customer value through this exhibition.
Meanwhile, LG Innotek is providing detailed information on its exhibition products and on-site highlights through a dedicated CES 2026 special section on its official website.
