LONDON — The Yellow Builders Alliance, a new initiative aimed at supporting projects built on its software development kit (SDK) and strengthening connections between developers, capital providers and industry partners, was launched by Yellow today.
According to the company, the alliance is intended to provide participating projects with access to resources, mentorship, and exposure through Yellow’s partner network. The program is also designed to create a more coordinated framework for projects seeking funding, technical support, and broader ecosystem visibility.
Yellow said the initiative is part of an effort to address fragmentation in the Web3 sector, where technical development and financial backing often remain disconnected. The company described the alliance as a way to bring together investors, developers, and ecosystem participants around projects using its SDK.
The company said more than 500 projects have begun building on the Yellow SDK, particularly in areas such as trading, decentralized finance (DeFi), and gaming.
Yellow also noted that similar ecosystem support models have been used by other blockchain networks and protocols, including Solana, Optimism, and Arbitrum, to encourage developer activity and broader network growth.
Alexis Sirkia, chairman of Yellow, said the Web3 market is moving toward more structured development models and that the alliance is intended to support developers building applications with practical use cases.
Yellow said the Builders Alliance is intended to operate as an ongoing part of its ecosystem strategy rather than a limited-term program, with a focus on future expansion and long-term project support.
Separately, Yellow said its native utility token, YELLOW, began trading on its proprietary platform, yellow.pro, on March 8.
