Com2uS announced that the Asia-Pacific Cup of the Summoners War World Arena Championship 2025 (SWC2025), the international esports tournament for its global mobile title Summoners War: Sky Arena, will take place on October 18 at 2:00 PM KST at the Busan eSports Stadium.
This year marks the first time the Asia-Pacific Cup—part of Summoners War’s esports history—will be held in Busan. Given the franchise’s origins in Korea and its worldwide popularity, strong interest from domestic fans is expected. In addition to the matches, the venue will feature multiple photo zones and event booths to encourage interaction with attendees.
A star-studded field of competitors from around the world will compete in the main event. The lineup includes last year’s World Final champion KELIANBAO, Southeast Asia representative PU, Korea’s ZZI-SOONG, domestic veteran SCHOLES, Japan’s ETOWARU, and TAKUZO10, who previously appeared at the 2023 World Final. Attention is also on FRANK, who stood out in East Asia qualifiers, and rising talent TC.
The Asia-Pacific Cup is a crucial qualifier that will determine the final three entrants to the World Final. Matches will be broadcast live on the official Summoners War esports YouTube channel with commentary available in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese. Spectators can participate in an in-game match prediction event via the game’s event page to win rewards such as the “SWC2025 Emblem.”
SWC is a global tournament that crowns the world’s top Summoners War players and has become an annual celebration involving players worldwide. In September’s Europe Cup held in France, RAXXAZ secured victory and a World Final berth, with P4FFIX and GOLEMPICHAGA also advancing. The America Cup in São Paulo on October 11 produced RAIGEKI, BIGV, and PANDALIK3 as finalists.
With the Asia-Pacific Cup filling the final three slots, the SWC2025 World Final will take place on November 1 in Paris, where the remaining competitors will battle for the championship.
