Mercuryo announced in London on September 30, 2026, that it will waive its fees on the first three purchases converting traditional currency into cryptocurrency for new MetaMask users in Canada. The promotion runs from September 30 through October 31, 2026, and covers all available digital tokens in the MetaMask mobile app and browser extension. MetaMask fees and network fees will continue to apply.
Eligible purchases can be made by credit card, debit card or Apple Pay, using either Canadian or US dollars. The offer applies to transactions between C$32 and C$483, according to Mercuryo. The waiver reduces one component of the cost of buying digital assets through the wallet.
