HS Hyosung Advanced Materials showcased its latest composite materials technologies at a major international exhibition as part of its strategy to expand in the global advanced materials market.
The company announced on March 11 that it participated in JEC World 2026, the world’s largest composites exhibition, held from March 10 to 12 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Convention Centre in Paris, France.
First launched in 1965, JEC World is one of the most prominent global events in the composite materials industry, attracting around 1,400 companies from more than 100 countries each year. The exhibition features advanced materials and manufacturing technologies used across industries such as aerospace, automotive, construction, and renewable energy. HS Hyosung Advanced Materials has been participating in the event since 2013.
At this year’s exhibition, the company highlighted its advanced carbon fiber-based composite technologies while seeking to expand collaboration with global customers.
Among the key products on display were high-strength 3K carbon fiber, designed for applications requiring superior tensile strength in sectors such as automotive, drones, aerospace, and construction, and 48K large-tow carbon fiber, developed for large-scale industrial markets including wind energy and automotive manufacturing.
The company’s exhibition booth also featured real-world applications of its materials, including drones and high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks made with carbon fiber composites.
Through its participation in the event, HS Hyosung Advanced Materials aims to strengthen partnerships with global customers and industrial partners while expanding its business into a wider range of industries.
