Com2uS announced that the Summoners War World Arena Championship 2025 (SWC2025) World Finals will take place in Paris on Nov. 1 at 9:00 p.m. KST.
The ninth edition of SWC, the global esports tournament to crown the Summoners War world champion, will bring together 12 finalists who advanced through the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Americas cups and the China regional qualifiers. The single winner will be decided at the Paris finals.
The event will be held at La Seine Musicale, a major cultural and performance venue in Paris. The tournament returns to Paris for the first time since the well-received 2019 World Finals, raising expectations for a memorable finale.
The competition will follow a 12-player single-elimination format. Quarterfinals through semifinals will be best-of-five (first to three wins), while the final will be best-of-seven (first to four wins). Top contenders include defending champion KELIANBAO, LEST pursuing a third title, Open Qualifier leader GUTSTHEBERSERK, two-time regional cup winners PU and RAIGEKI, and newcomer KANGJING, who topped the China qualifiers.
The champion will receive the tournament trophy; prize money totaling $140,000 (about KRW 200 million) will be distributed among the winner, runner-up and the two third-place finishers.
All matches will be streamed live on the official Summoners War esports YouTube and Twitch channels, with professional commentary in 13 languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Portuguese and French.
Onsite and online activities for global audiences include welcome goods for all attendees, live prediction events, and interactive promotions. Item coupon codes will be revealed during the broadcast, and participants in the in-game pre-match prediction event can earn special rewards such as the “SWC2025 Emblem.”
