SCRYPT has appointed Gantavya Sharma as chief product officer, adding senior product leadership as the Zurich-based digital asset company expands services for banks, financial institutions, and enterprise clients.
The company said in Zurich on July 8, 2026, that Sharma will lead SCRYPT’s product strategy and roadmap, with responsibility for developing its platform and client offering as institutional demand for digital asset infrastructure becomes more operational and compliance-driven.
Sharma brings more than 15 years of experience across banking, payments, fintech, venture building, and digital assets. He has worked across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, focusing on the intersection of financial services and emerging technology.
Most recently, Sharma held senior product leadership roles at Bitstamp, where he oversaw retail and institutional services, payments, custody, staking, and lending. He also contributed to the company’s growth before its acquisition by Robinhood.
Earlier in his career, Sharma held leadership roles at Barclays, Fiserv, Creative Dock, Ooredoo Fintech, and Brillion.
Norman Wooding, founder and CEO of SCRYPT, said institutional clients increasingly require platforms that can operate reliably, securely, and at scale. He said Sharma’s experience across traditional finance, payments, and digital assets would support the company’s product development.
Sharma said digital assets are becoming part of mainstream financial services, requiring product teams to balance innovation with institutional standards.
The appointment comes as digital asset companies seek to strengthen management teams and product execution amid growing demand from regulated financial institutions.
