CONX (formerly XPLA), a global blockchain mainnet, has announced the winners of the “Joo Jaebum Arena,” a circular real-world asset (RWA) project co-hosted with the AI-based art curation platform ARTUE.
The project represents the first application of CONX’s Circular RWA model to the art sector. The initiative draws inspiration from the artistic worldview of Joo Jaebum, who has built an international presence by reinterpreting pixels—the smallest unit of digital imagery—within the context of contemporary painting. Based on this convergence of digital and analog perspectives, CONX aims to demonstrate a blockchain-based RWA structure that bridges Web2 and Web3 environments.
The Champion title was awarded to “Another New Day, 2026.” The work was recognized for conveying comfort to those who endured 2025 while expressing hope for 2026 through imagery of rising red light against a nighttime Seoul cityscape. According to the judging panel, including Joo Jaebum and industry experts, the piece effectively captured the theme of “New Beginning” by contrasting red energy ascending from the lower portion of the composition with blue-toned memories lingering above.
The Popularity Award went to “2bit Meow Meow,” which evoked a retro pixel-game aesthetic using only straight lines. The Idea Award was claimed by “Generation Failed,” noted for its playful and satirical combination of cats and artificial intelligence.
The Champion will receive $1,000 worth of CONX tokens, while the winning idea will be developed into a physical artwork through Joo Jaebum’s creative process. The completed piece is scheduled to be listed and traded on ARTUE’s AI-based art curation platform.
Under the project’s Circular RWA framework, revenue rights generated from the artwork will be tokenized on the blockchain and transparently distributed to contributors, including the artist, the idea provider, and the platform. This process is supported by the On-chain Distribution License (ODL), an automated revenue distribution standard developed by CONX’s technical partner Com2uS Holdings. Payouts are made in stablecoins such as USDC and USDT to enhance transactional stability.
CONX, a Layer 1 blockchain mainnet, is backed by participation from global Web3 companies including Google Cloud, LayerZero, and Animoca Brands. The platform is positioning itself as blockchain infrastructure that connects the content industry with digital finance, with a focus on enabling traditional financial institutions, cultural industries, and technology companies to transition real-world assets on-chain while strengthening stablecoin-based settlement systems.
