SK Telecom (SKT) said it will present its full-stack artificial intelligence capabilities spanning infrastructure, models and services at MWC Barcelona 2026, the world’s largest mobile and telecommunications exhibition, to be held March 2–5 in Barcelona, Spain.

Under the theme “AI for Infinite Possibilities,” SKT and its partners will demonstrate how telecommunications technologies enhance AI innovation and how AI is reshaping the telecom industry.

AI Infrastructure and Network Innovation

At its exhibition booth, SKT will highlight its expertise in AI data centers (AIDCs), network AI and marketing AI.

Among the key technologies on display is the AIDC Infrastructure Manager, an intelligent platform that integrates diverse data generated across AI data centers into a unified system for real-time monitoring and stable operations.

SKT will also showcase its integrated GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) offering, combining its high-performance cloud platform Petasus AI Cloud, the AI Cloud Manager for GPU resource optimization and the real-time monitoring system GAIA.

In response to the industry’s shift from training-centric to inference-driven computing, SKT will introduce AI Inference Factory, a next-generation solution integrating hardware, computing infrastructure and software to address cost, power consumption and memory limitations of conventional AIDCs.

In the network domain, SKT plans to present AI agents for network operations, AI-RAN technology capable of delivering telecommunications and AI services simultaneously, on-device AI-based antenna optimization and integrated sensing and communications technology that uses radio signals to collect environmental data. These technologies offer a glimpse into autonomous networks and the evolution toward 6G.

In marketing, the company will feature agentic AI services and platforms designed to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Live Demonstrations of A.X K1 and Physical AI

The booth will also feature SKT’s advanced AI models, including a live demonstration of A.X K1, Korea’s first hyperscale AI foundation model with 519 billion parameters. The model advanced to Phase 2 of the government-led Sovereign AI Foundation Model Project in January 2026. Visitors will also be able to explore open-source models released under SKT’s A.X AI language model brand.

SKT will present technologies supporting physical AI, including a Digital Twin Platform that replicates real-world environments for AI decision-making and planning, a Robot Training Platform that links virtual and physical environments for sensory learning, and SynapsEgo, a high-performance vision solution for analyzing first-person video footage.

AI-powered services on display will include the AI call service A. phone (A-DoT phone), the voice recording and documentation tool A. note (A-DoT note), and CareVia, an AI-based behavioral recognition care service. The exhibition will also feature the AI Property Screening System used by SK hynix and the AI wellness robot NAMUHX developed by SK Intellix.

A dedicated section of the booth will introduce SKT’s AI governance framework, T.H.E. AI (by Telco, for Humanity, with Ethics AI), aimed at addressing global regulatory trends and ethical considerations in AI development.

Four Korean AI startups collaborating with SKT — Rebellions, MangoBoost, SelectStar and StudioLab — will also participate in the exhibition.

Global Collaboration and Startup Support

At MWC26, SKT plans to pursue strategic discussions with global telecom operators, AIDC providers and startups, leveraging its capabilities across the AI value chain. The company will focus on cooperation in AI data centers, including expertise from the Ulsan AIDC and the Haein GPU cluster, as well as on AI models following its advancement in the Sovereign AI project.

CEO Jung Jai-hun and other executives are scheduled to meet key industry stakeholders during the event.

SKT will also support Korean startups attending MWC26 by operating a dedicated exhibition space and assisting them in attracting global investment.

“MWC Barcelona 2026 will be a milestone for SK Telecom to demonstrate how AI infrastructure, models and services are being realized on the foundation of telecommunications,” Jung said.

“With our full-stack AI capabilities, we aim to elevate SK Telecom’s role within the global AI ecosystem to the next level.”
