NCSoft announced on October 28 that its subsidiary First Spark Games’ MMORPG Throne and Liberty (TL) has expanded its global console service to the Asia region.
Starting October 28, NCSoft and Amazon Games launched the TL console service in the 1st region, which includes Korea and Taiwan. Players in the 1st region can access the Amazon Games–hosted global version of TL on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. The game’s existing 1st-region service on NCSoft’s platform Purple will continue to operate independently.
TL has been rolled out in stages: it first launched in the 1st region via Purple in December 2023; in October 2024, NCSoft partnered with Amazon Games to open Steam and console global services across the Americas, Europe, Oceania and Japan; and in September 2025 the Steam global version was expanded to the 1st region, contributing to the title’s steady service stabilization.
First Spark Games CEO Choi Moon-young said, “We are pleased that 1st-region players can now enjoy TL on consoles. We will continue to listen to player feedback and improve the game.”
