Doosan Group Chairman Park Jeong-won visited CES 2026 in Las Vegas and said the group aims to lead the energy market in the AI era through customized energy solutions. During the event, he also took part in on-site recruitment interviews, underscoring Doosan’s commitment to securing top global talent to drive AI-led innovation.

On January 7 (local time), Chairman Park toured CES 2026 with key executives including Vice Chairman Park Ji-won, Doosan Enerbility Vice Chairman Jung Yeon-in, and Doosan Bobcat Vice Chairman Scott Park. The delegation reviewed the latest AI-driven technology trends and explored new business opportunities, while also participating in final interviews for Doosan’s global recruitment program.

After visiting the Doosan booth, Chairman Park noted that the rapid expansion of AI is expected to sharply increase electricity demand, particularly from data centers, while energy sourcing methods will diversify depending on customer needs. He emphasized that Doosan is well positioned to respond with a broad portfolio of energy solutions and will pursue a customer-tailored strategy to lead the evolving energy market.

Under the theme “Powered by Doosan,” the group’s exhibition in the West Hall featured a 380MW-class large gas turbine model at its center. The turbine, which secured a supply contract for five units with a U.S. big-tech company last year, is designed to deliver stable, around-the-clock power and is being highlighted as a practical core energy source for AI data centers.

Doosan also showcased a small modular reactor (SMR) model as a next-generation power source capable of flexible, demand-based electricity supply. In addition, hydrogen fuel cells with modular designs and short construction timelines were presented as solutions suitable for both primary and backup power for data centers.

Physical AI technologies developed by Doosan Bobcat and Doosan Robotics were another major focus of the exhibition. Doosan Bobcat unveiled AI-powered software such as the voice-based Jobsite Companion, which assists operators on construction sites, and Bobcat Service AI, designed to improve maintenance efficiency. Doosan Robotics introduced Scan & Go, an AI and 3D vision-based solution that enables task execution without coding. The technology received both the Best of Innovation Award in the AI category and an Innovation Award in Robotics at CES.

Chairman Park also paid close attention to global talent recruitment during CES. For the first time, Doosan conducted group-wide overseas recruitment, attracting a large number of master’s and doctoral candidates from leading U.S. engineering schools. Addressing candidates during final interviews, he stressed the importance of continuously securing talent with the capabilities and passion aligned with Doosan’s future growth.

The recruitment program targeted engineering students and graduates in fields such as AI, gas turbines, nuclear power, and robotics. Successful candidates will be offered industry-leading compensation, with scholarship support of up to 36 months available for students prior to joining the company.
