KT announced that it will participate in MWC 2026, taking place from March 2 to 5 in Barcelona, Spain, where it will showcase South Korea’s latest innovations combining advanced technologies with K-culture.
At Hall 4 of the exhibition venue, KT will create a booth themed around Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. Through six themed zones integrating K-culture and artificial intelligence (AI), the company plans to present Korea’s technological capabilities and cultural content to a global audience.
In the AX Zone, inspired by Gwanghwamun Station and KT’s Gwanghwamun West headquarters, KT will introduce its AI transformation (AX) operating platform, Agentic Fabric. The platform is designed to organically connect various AI technologies and agents, enabling enterprise-wide task execution. Structured into five layers, Agentic Fabric includes core components such as Agent Orchestration and K RAI Assessment, which KT says have been validated through internal business applications.
KT will also present its physical AI strategy, which integrates robots, equipment, and IT systems into a unified framework, along with its robotics platform, K RaaS (KT Robot as a Service). The showcase will demonstrate how integrated service flows, rather than individual robot controls, can operate seamlessly in industrial environments. Industry-specific AX use cases will be featured, including an AI judicial support platform for Korea’s Supreme Court, an asset management agent for financial institutions, and an AI order assistant for an automotive parts manufacturer.
Additional highlights include a template-based Agent Builder tool, the next-generation contact center solution Agentic AICC, Vision Track for AI-powered missing person detection, and a “Data to AI” framework with case studies in finance and manufacturing.
In the Network Zone, KT will outline its AI-driven vision for the 6G era. The company will present technologies aimed at enabling ubiquitous connectivity, ultra-reliable infrastructure, and quantum-safe communications. It will also introduce semantic communication technology that enhances transmission efficiency by understanding data meaning, along with high-efficiency computing infrastructure for intelligent networks.
The K-Square Zone will showcase collaborations with KT Group affiliates. BC Card will demonstrate its proprietary AI solution MoAI and a Paybooc wallet-based USDC payment service for purchasing K-culture merchandise. KT Millie’s Library will introduce “AI Dokfarming,” an interactive reading service, and “Millie Pairing,” which integrates paper books, e-books, and audiobooks.
KT is also expanding cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises and startups. Studio Freewillusion, which participated in producing the generative AI-based omnibus film “Code:G – The Beginning of Attention,” and AIPet, operator of the AI pet home-care service TTcare, will operate joint booths. In addition, KT will support 10 partner companies at the 4YFN (Four Years From Now) exhibition hall to facilitate their global market entry.
Other exhibition areas include an Archive Zone highlighting the history of Korean telecommunications, a Sports Zone where “AI Lee Kang-in” delivers cheering messages in seven languages, and an F&B Zone offering smart ordering and payment experiences powered by Hi-Order. A soccer shooting event will also be held to celebrate the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
KT said it aims to actively promote its innovation capabilities on the global stage through an exhibition that blends AI and K-culture, while continuing to expand brand experiences that connect technology and culture.
