San Francisco, California - January 20, 2026 — Ivo, an AI legal technology startup that builds software for contract review and contract data analysis, said on Tuesday it has raised $55 million in a Series B funding round.

The round was led by existing investor Blackbird, with participation from Costanoa Ventures, Uncork Capital, Fika Ventures, GD1 and Icehouse Ventures, the company said. Ivo did not disclose the post-money valuation.

Ivo provides an “AI-powered contract intelligence” platform designed for in-house legal and contracting teams. The company said its tools are intended to help teams review contracts more quickly and extract information from large contract libraries without relying on manual tagging.

The company said the funding follows a year of rapid growth, including a sixfold increase in revenue and a 134% rise in total customers since its previous funding round. Ivo also said adoption within Fortune 500 companies increased by 250% over the same period.

Ivo lists customers including Uber, Shopify, Atlassian, Reddit, Canva, IBM, Pinterest, Quora, BILL.com and others. The company did not provide a breakdown of contract types or industry concentration among its customer base.

Chief executive and co-founder Min-Kyu Jung said the company’s focus is to help teams interact with contracts more efficiently while improving access to contract-related information across the enterprise. He said the platform is intended to make contract review faster and give organizations clearer visibility into their agreements.

Ivo’s contract review product, Ivo Review, uses legal playbooks to standardize review positions and apply consistent checks across agreements, the company said. Customers have reported saving up to 75% of the time required for manual contract review, according to Ivo.

Ivo’s contract intelligence product is designed to let teams search and analyze contract portfolios, identify common legal positions, and surface relationships between agreements, the company said. It is marketed as a way to answer business questions based on contract terms in minutes rather than through longer manual review processes.

In a statement provided by the company, Uber’s senior manager for contract operations, Kate Gardner, said Uber selected Ivo based on usability, accuracy, multilingual capability, and confidentiality requirements.

The company said the new capital will be used to support product development and expand deployment across existing clients, as well as scale adoption with new customers. Ivo said its long-term goal is to treat contracts as a source of business intelligence that can support faster decision-making and reduce operational friction.

Ivo was founded in New Zealand and is headquartered in San Francisco, the company said.
