Zagreb, Croatia – Solana-based wallet provider Solflare has unveiled an alpha version of an in-wallet artificial intelligence (AI) assistant at Solana Breakpoint 2025, marking an initial step toward integrating natural-language interfaces into crypto wallet operations.
The AI assistant, currently available to a limited group of users through invitations and a waitlist, is designed to allow users to interact with their wallets using conversational prompts rather than traditional menu-based interfaces. According to the company, the assistant can interpret user instructions and prepare on-chain actions, while final transaction approval remains manual.
The alpha release is being deployed across Solflare’s browser extension and mobile applications. It includes a chat interface through which users can initiate transactions, set token price alerts, automate trades based on predefined conditions such as price or timing, and request basic market or social-media sentiment analysis. The system draws on market data and public social signals from platforms including X and Telegram. A separate dashboard allows users to review, manage, or cancel automated actions.
Solflare said that the AI assistant does not execute transactions autonomously. Each action initiated through the assistant requires explicit user confirmation before being submitted on-chain, maintaining existing security controls.
Vidor Gencel, co-founder and co-chief executive officer of Solflare, said the company developed the assistant in response to the increasing complexity of monitoring crypto markets and managing on-chain activity across multiple platforms. He added that the goal of the tool is to reduce friction between user intent and execution without removing user oversight.
The AI assistant is built on an intent-based architecture, in which user instructions are translated into specific on-chain actions by backend systems that interact with multiple Solana protocols. Solflare said this approach is intended to consolidate wallet interactions into a single interface, rather than requiring users to navigate separate tools or decentralized applications.
Filip Dragoslavic, co-founder and co-chief executive officer, said the alpha release is an early test of whether natural-language interfaces can simplify on-chain trading and decentralized finance workflows. He emphasized that broader functionality and access would depend on feedback and performance during the testing phase.
Solflare stated that access to the AI assistant will be expanded gradually during the alpha period, with interested users able to register through a waitlist. The company did not provide a timeline for a full public release.
