Montreal, Nov. 3, 2025 — Korea IT Times: RoboDK and SimuSoft have jointly established a “Robotics and Industry 4.0 Lab” at ZP School Jalindarnagar in rural Maharashtra, offering a scalable and cost-effective model for introducing advanced robotics and AI education into primary school curricula. The initiative contributed to the school receiving the 2025 Community Choice Award at T4 Education’s World’s Best School Prizes.
The program enables students to learn robotics concepts—including programming, simulation, and basic automation—using RoboDK’s software platform, which is widely deployed in industrial automation. According to RoboDK CEO Albert Nubiola, the project demonstrates that simulation technology can lower barriers to robotics education in regions with limited resources.
SimuSoft Managing Director Sunil Chore described the initiative as one of the first of its kind in India, noting that students are gaining early exposure to tools such as CNC simulators, Raspberry Pi programming, CAD applications, and links between virtual and physical robotics systems.
The lab’s simulation-first approach allows students to explore industrial processes in a safe, hardware-light environment. RoboDK’s virtual tools help schools reduce costs and provide broader access to hands-on STEM learning without requiring extensive physical equipment.
Interest in the program has spread to other institutions, with more than 700 additional students set to participate. Both companies plan to expand the model to schools globally.
Nubiola emphasized that early exposure to robotics and AI skills is increasingly important for future workforce readiness, while Chore noted that simulation helps students visualize and test real-world applications before interacting with physical robots.
RoboDK and SimuSoft state that the model can be replicated internationally and encourage educators and policymakers to consider similar approaches to expand access to foundational robotics education.
