KCC Silicone is accelerating its push into China’s cosmetics ingredients market by participating in PCHi 2026 (Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients), a major industry exhibition taking place from March 18 to 20 at the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center.
PCHi is the largest personal care and homecare ingredients exhibition in China, attracting global ingredient suppliers, cosmetics brands, and industry professionals. This year’s event, spanning more than 70,000 square meters, will feature over 800 companies showcasing a wide range of products and technologies, including raw materials, testing and analysis solutions, regulatory services, packaging, manufacturing equipment, and AI-based innovations.
According to market research data, China’s beauty and personal care market is expected to reach approximately $73.6 billion in 2025, ranking second globally. As a result, global cosmetics companies continue to prioritize China as a key growth market. Hangzhou, the host city of this year’s exhibition, is emerging as a major hub for digital consumption and the beauty industry, drawing increased attention from both global suppliers and local brands.
The exhibition will include major Chinese ingredient companies such as RUNHE, SILOK, Bloomage Biotechnology, Freda, Jinbo, and JAKA, alongside global chemical companies including Dow, Wacker, Shin-Etsu, Elkem, Croda, and Evonik.
Amid rising demand in China’s cosmetics market for functional ingredients that enhance texture, application, and formulation stability, interest in eco-friendly and high-performance materials is also growing. Silicone-based cosmetic ingredients are gaining traction due to their smooth feel, excellent spreadability, and formulation stability, making them increasingly popular in both skincare and makeup products.
At PCHi 2026, KCC Silicone will showcase a range of advanced silicone-based beauty materials that combine sensory appeal with functional performance. The company plans to conduct live formulation demonstrations and technical consultations at its booth to enhance product understanding and explore collaboration opportunities with local brands and buyers.
Key products on display include SeraSense® RBS 12, which improves formulation stability and texture through a thixotropic resin blend; SeraSense® SS 15, designed to enhance sun protection factor (SPF); SeraSense® AG 21, which delivers premium gloss and long-lasting effects in color cosmetics; and SeraSilk® PDA 90, a microplastic-free solution. These materials can be applied across a wide range of cosmetic formulations, with on-site demonstrations and technical support available.
“KCC Silicone will actively introduce its differentiated silicone technologies and new product lineup to the Chinese market through this exhibition,” a company official said. “We aim to strengthen technical collaboration with local customers and expand business opportunities in China’s cosmetics ingredients market by identifying new partners.”
